Sex Criminals #18 Cover

Is Suzie freezing time or planning how to save her library? It's so ambiguous. Excellent oil painting, with a very appropriate expression. The red background really makes the piece glow, and has a bit of a Scandinavian expressionist feel to it. Vibrant.

Sex Criminals is a criminally underrated series and it's awesome that you were able to add rare traditionally done art from the series by Chip (and a cover no less). Very cool and "stimulating" addition, congrats!

Given that the series is titled Sex Criminals, the thing about this cover image is that I can't tell if whatever someone is doing to her out of frame fits with the "Sex" part of the title, or the "Criminal" part. It could go either way! Hence, I suppose, the mystery of the published version, giving us a peek behind the veil. Kudos, pal!

Ah oui oui ... la petit mort ... the leetle death.  Always thought that was a great description for ... well, what it is describing.  Anyway ... a beautul painting by Chip Zdarsky, congrats!
