One of my absolute favorite commission experiences I've had was the
Eternity that Matt Lesniewski did for me. You can find it
here in my gallery. When he announced he was taking some commissions to work on at C2E2 I had to get back on the list. He said it might be awhile until he's doing the cover quality tier again, but I was very excited to get on the list at this tier, regardless. I gave him a few choices, and he went with a Celestial. I was very happy with that as it would pair nicely with my Eternity.
As you see, he selected Eson the Searcher, one of Kirby's originals. As expected, he made it his own, and interpreted the design in his own style. I love it, I think it fits well with his other interpretations from the Marvel Cosmic Pantheon. I hope to get to see him do more, and I really hope Marvel gets Matt on board as a variant cover artist. I'd also plug here Matt's Patreon, it's a great value, he shares quite a lot of work in progress images and has very regular updates of his process, what works and what doesn't, it's a really interesting insight in a creative's process. You can follow along as he creates the second volume of Faceless and the Family.
