Nice representation for the first 1970's OPEC oil crisis embargo.  It's reminds us of how interconnected we are to the rest of the world.  Sure, we can drill for our own oil, but oil companies will just pump enough to keep the prices just as high, knowing you now can't get it elsewhere.
