Mike DeCarlo - Legion of Super Heroes #38 reimagined cover, in Christopher Daley's Classifieds

The great inker Mike DeCarlo created this wonderful reimagining of the cover to Legion of Super Heroes #38. Post-crisis, DC had to figure out what to do with a Superboy who didn't exist in the revised timeline. This issue was the answer.

As much as I loved the Five Year Later story that came next, the Paul Levitz run epitomizes my favorite version of the legion. Obviously thinking the cover that DC used for this issue could have been more dramatic, Mike seems to have created this piece in 2012. It's a great reimagining and includes Superboy, the Time Trapper, Mon-El, Night Girl, Ultra Boy, Brainy, and Cosmic Boy.

The 11 x 17 page is pencil and ink and is in great shape.
