Description
Always wanted a Dredd chatting to Hershey and always wanted a piece by Colin McNeil so at Lawless 2025 with Colin MacNeil - who is super lovely - attending I took great joy spending over 30 mins searching his pile of art for sale (seriously it was insane how much glorious art he has for sale still) and still picked this one I found in the first 2 minutes of looking!

Just a wonderful, wonderful page and just what I was after.

From page 1 of Machine Law part 4 written by John Wagner

Nice one as all the solid black shadows puts us along with Judge Hershey and Judge Dredd under the cavernous envrionment in the valley of skyscrapers in Mega City One.

Yeah - that final panel as well just captures there relationship perfectly as well. We don't see Dredd's 'face' and when we do its looking ahead to what needs to be done while Hershey is still reflecting on the fact she doesn't quite get his complete approval.

They are confined by the panels, but yet still very distant.
