I sure don't miss those days. Anyone else remember getting the dreaded envelope and having to bring it home?

Double skunked. Archie plays a mean game of cribbage!

Maybe I just live somewhere they're ubiquitous, but skunks are exotic now?

Lots of skunks where I live too. Some are even in-laws.

Seems like a solid strategy by Archie, but parents always find a way...I didn't have this probem until high school, but once I had it...I started building a list of acceptable excuses!

I never got envelopes. We were handed our report cards in the form of computer printouts that appeared to be the under copy of a stencil. So it made it easy with a deft touch and dexterity to change some of the digits with a pencil and turn fives and sixes into eights, and so on. Plus, we were expected to bring the report cards home ourselves, they were never mailed.

Why leave them tied to the mail box post?  I would leave them off the leash to chase that poor mailman all around the neighborhood!!!

The Archie face in dilema is the highlight of the page!  Even John Madden would have been amazed of the double skunk defense.

I know the grades are bad but no need to raise a stink about it!

Nowadays kids report cards are often sent via email or a web portal. I guess if Archie were in a similar scenario today, he'd be infecting his parents' computers with a virus while smashing their iPhones with a hammer.
