Absolutely gorgeous cover!  This is one of my favorites!!  You found a golden art piece, huge congrats!   This was one of my favorite covers from the DARK ANGEL SAGA, this issue is amazing and such a great way to honor this era.  So happy to see on here, especially since we don't see very much from this era coming up.

My lightsaber would have been lit up as well!  The Ribic colors go deep and create that sense of solid figures in a cavernous space!

I love how Ribic did Lady Mandarin's pale white skin and the choice of blues for almost everything else is wonderful. I was admiring it and thinking abou this when I began to scroll down and my face almost melted when I saw what they did to the color for the published version. Someone at Marvel would've been summarily fired if I had been in charge. Congrats on the acquisition, John!

I also really admired how well Esad executed the variety of blue hues in this piece. Agree the published version diminished some of his color work

Esad Ribic is an incomparable author, and this cover is an example of his art.

Stunning cover by Esad Ribic, one of my favorite painters in comics today. This powerful image is from the Uncanny X-Forece's Dark Angel Saga and it portrays the lustful passions of Archangel and Pyslocke. I love the dark blue and grey color palette used on this cover. It encompasses the dark passions and desires of the series' two lead characters. The only light in the painting comes from Pyslocke's psi-blade, and that can't be good. Absolutely riveting cover from a piovotal X-family series. Great pick-up, congrats!
