This is where DC had a leg up on Marvel! The westerns, horror, and love genres were dominated by DC that catered to a diverse audience. Solid illustration by Dominguez pushed further to define these genres, whereas Marvel made everything look like their superhero books.
This takes me back to the early 2000s, when you were regularly adding these covers to your collection! Thanks for adding a scan of that little article on Dominguez. He was already as good as many American newspaper strip artists when he was only 14 years old!
