Description
Marvel March 1979 from the story "The Long Night of Fang and Talon" Written by Roy Thomas.

Belit sees Sholo through the barred window and manages to get the lion to pull apart the bars, but the other captive women,fearful of Ajangi's wrath, refuse to escape. The two make it to the surface of the cliff city only to see Conan dragged to an altar and Ajangi calling all the beasts of the jungle forth to kill Conan.

Nice page from JB and Chan! With his work on Tarzan and Conan, Buscema certainly knew how to draw a Lion. The figurework on this page is exceptional.
