Liliana Vess from MTG (2025)

Liliana Vess appears in the Wizards of the Coast 2025 release War of the Spark. Realizing that the Japanese version would need a separate print run, the Wizards at WotC saw an opportunity. They hired a number of Japanese illustrators to do new paintings for these cards. After an art exhibition of these works, the current owner asked Yoshitaka Amano to create an original work of Liliana Vess for him. The request resulted in this all-new image of the Planewalker mage.
