Ponyo MerMay drawing by Melissa Ballesteros

      Melissa Ballesteros is a storyboard artist and character designer in Mexico. I saw a cute Spider-Gwen drawing online and looked up the artist and found her melivillosa Instagram, Melissa Ballesteros ArtStation, and Patreon. I saw this Hayao Miyazaki tribute piece during MerMay this year and made an inquiry. I had to make that extra effort. Melissa wrote me back when the Ponyo drawing went up on her melivillosa Ko-Fi page and I snapped it up. I bought another Mermay drawing after a few hours of contemplation. The package arrived today via the Mexican post office and USPS. Melissa warned me that Mexican mail was a little slow and it turned out to be three weeks from Mexico to California, but the package arrived in great shape. I'm thrilled to have these after admiring her work for five years.
