Lot consists of complete set of 12 cards w/pack and full set of original art for all 12 cards. Issued by "Ediciones Barbal, Barcerlona" and from a series of "Classic Stories" cards sets (see next lot). The cards are 3x4" w/choice color story art on fronts, bw story text backs. Tells the classic version of this timeless folk tale. Set comes w/stiff paper pack w/window front that holds the card set. Front notes set title and "No. 7" referring to the number of this set, back has list of the 20 sets in this series. Front bottom two corners of pack have .5" tears. VG. Cards are crisp and clean as stored in the pack, NM to Mint. The original art is 4.25x6.25" thick art board w/mixed-media fully painted images. Each of the 12 pieces of original art is signed by Enric Cervell� Bach, noted illustrator of many different card sets, among other published work. Moderate scattered traces of aging, mostly to the blank margins. Art shows very little wear and remains bold and vibrant. Boards are Fine, original art is Exc. A one of a kind lot w/appeal to both collectors of non-sport cards and original art.
