Too much talking. Always knock out a telepath quick!
But if he didn't monologue, how would you know his brain power was so much stronger than the heroes?
What a dweeb! He monologues too much and Hawkeye could have shot a boxing glove arrow to score a knockout already. Milgrom and Sinnott made this early part of the series so fun as us kids in the 80's wanted #1 issues so we could follow a title from the start.
Well, Headlok suffers a defeat almost as bad as losing to M-Wai...he has his master strategy figured out by a girl (a.k.a. Mockingbird)!
Excellent page with a great villain. Sinnott's inks are always remarkable! Great one!!!
Thanks for the comment!
More new baddie adds! Great issue, sent in the desert, from WCA. Enter Headlok and the Griffin! Congrats!
The 80's West Coast Avengers were some of my most read comics in my collection as a kid with all the goofy storylines and villains!
Wow! This page looks so much cooler, and Headlok looks so much creepier, in the original artists' black and white than it does in full color in the book. A great WCA piece.
Yes, Headlok looks very terrifying here. Unfortunately, he didn't live up to his potential...
