I was reading Infinity Inc when Todd took over the pencils. It was a pretty big jump from Ordway. Unlike some of the other big jumps I experienced, this one felt right, though. Todd was still developing his figure work but his layouts were already something special. It's really cool to own a page from Todd's second issue.

Largely because of my love of Earth2 stories, I was a big Infinity Inc fan so I'm particularly excited that the whole roster (trimmed down in issue 13) is squeezed (pun intended) into the 4th panel. And, considering Northwind was always my favorite of the bunch, I feel lucky that he gets a close up in the 5th panel.

Like several books at this time (primarily the ones like Infinity that were "Baxter"), this page is oversized. It's about 13 x 20.

Bought this through a HA auction in spring 2025.

Baxter was direct market and were the more niche titles they could take chance on selling less copies for the higher cover price. This is great early Todd on the title (2nd issue) and kicked off his mainstream success.

I love seeing McFarlane's work from these issues. Such creative panel layouts and some great shots here.
