Description

One of two Dave Pether romance paintings I bought from his estate sale at Wow-Art. Not my usuals, but very lovely work for the price. This is the original cover painting for the novel by Jean Chapman, published by Piatkus, 1995. 12" x 17" in acrylic and goache and is one of the few paintings from Pether that was signed and dated (1994).

Lovely locale and quite peaceful with the lady wearing clothing complimentary to her environment. It brings about a pleasant mood where opportunities for romance abound..
