Fantastic work by Eric Fortune created as the cover art for Anne Ursu’s book “The Shadow Theives”, published by Atheneum in 2006. It was also selected for inclusion in the Society of Illustrators 48th Annual. Unfortunately, the publisher requested changes at the last minute and Eric had to photoshop out the ghostly characters…a horrible decision in my opinion!
