Epic DPS by Coipel and Morales! I liked how they used and implemented The Void in the Thunderbolts* movie, and that shot you pointed out of Sentry hovering down from the sky certainly evokes this scene. congrats!
Thanks, Kavi! It's always cool to see comic book pages come to life. Obviously they did their own (equally as cool) thing with it, but the resemblence is still there. The moment it was revealed in the trailer felt like that Leonardo DiCaprio meme from Once Upon a Time in Hollywood where he is sitting pointing at the TV with a beer in his hand lol
The inking is exceptional! Morales did the background of the Void's powers with a method different than the characters and makes it look absolutely frightening!
It's funny, I normally prefer Coipel finishing his own pencils but Morales really did a fantastic job with this story. There's just so much inking on this page and the background effect is executed so well. Thanks for the comment, Marcus!
Phenomenal dps!
Thank you. Much appreciated :)
Awesome!
Thanks, Dinesh! It was fun getting to chat about it with you, Mike and Mickey :)
Coipel always delivers. Awesome DPS!
He sure does! Thanks, Paul :)
Wow! Jawdropping DPS by Oliver Coipel and Mark Morales! Personally, I like this scene better than the one in Thunderbolts. Outstanding pick-up, congrats!
Thank you for the comment, Bill! Always appreciated.
Nice overall composition paired with killer pure illustration, as per usual with Coipel. And I like how much ink's on the board, courtesy of MM. Sweet rendering of a key moment from Siege. Congrats, man!
Thank you :) Yeah, in person it really stands out how little of these two pages is not covered in ink lol. Pretty wild.
