Classic Mad Donald Duck Studio Model Drawing (Walt Disney, 1940s). "Mickey! Mickey! Mickey! Everybody loves Mickey!" This charming, original rough animation drawing features an angry Donald Duck blowing steam at someone, most likely Mickey Mouse. This studio model drawing shows Donald in an expressive pose with his fist punching out and his adorable cap floating as he hops up and down. Donald Duck was created by famous animators Dick Lundy (1907 - 1990) and Walt Disney (1901 - 1966) making his debut in The Wise Little Hen in 1934. Donald Duck has starred in over 150 theatrical films with several of them garnering Academy Awards. This impressive drawing was illustrated in graphite on trimmed animation paper and pasted up on another animation paper sheet. Donald size measures at 6" x 4" and possibly drawn at Fleischer Studios due to the 3-peghole animation paper. Drawing is dated 2/16/1940 in the upper right corner and is signed by well-renowned animator Al Eugster (1909 - 1997) in the bottom right corner. The overall condition is Good to Very Good with some handling wear and edge wear.
