Golden Age Secret Files, prelim, pages 20 , 21

This is a wonderful consolation prize. Back when I did the deal to pick up several of Cliff’s Justice Society pages I was unable to get the one I really wanted. So Mark Hay was nice enough to send me some of the pencil sketches done before Cliff produced the issue’s finished pages. The gem is this wonderful full out action sequence that was a dps, you can see how carefully Cliff lays out his panels.
In fact this is so good it would be easy to have an inker take this and finish it off creating a terrific example of the melding of styles.
Maybe in the future…. Until then…
