Description
We close my series of Lan Medina pages with 2 consecutive pages showing Cap fighting the Emissary! I thought this 2 page sequence was a fun battle scene, with some shield action, and some good shots of both Cap and the Emissary at it... I definitely feel like in the end I got a good sample of Lan's art... one showing Steve Rogers and no super hero action, another one showing the 2 heading into battles, and now this 2 page battle sequence!! I hope you enjoy these as much as I do!!

Someday, someone is going to have to splain me how that shield defies physics like that.

Way to finish it off in style. The shadows on Cap on the 3nd panel add a nice sense of foreboding!

It's the second panel!  Lan fools you with the architecture to make a false panel border, but I agree with the shadows all over Cap foreshading an uncertain outcome when going into battle.

Aaaagh! No, I wasn't fooled. I just had a brain fart. It's mindboggling that the simple ability to edit our own comments isn't a feature.

I feel like I made a similar shot once playing pool but no one was around to watch. I swear it happened though. 2 awesome shots of Cap here. Just like on the page 3, I'm a sucker for those leaping kick images!

Yeah, I once went 7 for 7 in a 15 inning game, with 4 home runs, a single, double and a triple, and 12 RBI! Of course, much like yourself, it was definitely just in my imagination.
