Astride her steed Asfaloth with the ailing Frodo in tow, Arwen fearlessly faces the nine Nazgûl. She summons a flood in the form of spectral horses to sweep the Ringwraiths and their dark mounts away. Aboy infuses the scene with a vibrant, ethereal quality, from the glowing gold of Asfaloth’s mane to the jeweled blues and greens reflecting from the Ford’s waters.
