Description

A hand-drawn storyboard labeled "Smee Turns" from Steven Spielberg's Hook. In a climactic sequence, Captain Hook, (Dustin Hoffman) and the pirate crew of the Jolly Roger - including his servile second-in-command, Mr. Smee (Bob Hoskins) - saw Peter Banning (Robin Williams) land on the ship in a burst of sunlight after Peter remembered he was Pan.

This storyboard depicting the bearded Smee turning into a blinding light originated from a crew member. It is numbered page "22," marked for frame "C," and annotated with the editing note "cut to" in ink and graphite. The paper is labeled as drawn by "E.S.U." and "N.G.," the latter believed to refer to three-time Academy Award�-nominated production designer Norman Garwood. The storyboard exhibits edge wear from handling. Dimensions: 11" x 8.5" (28 cm x 21.75 cm)
