Declan Shalvey

Injection revolves around 5 genius levels brought together by the British government. Each one is a re-imagined version of classic characters. I really enjoyed the stories Warren Ellis and Declan Shalvey created in this series. Injection has been on hiatus for like 8 years now. TPBs and Deluxe editions have keep it alive for me. It would be awesome if this series made it's return one day.

This particular page comes to life when you read the dialog/story. The main Injection character here is Sherlock Holmes inspired Vivek Headland. In this story arc, Vivek takes on a case involving a ghost. His client offers him a sandwich and Vivek notices a distinct taste. On the last panel on this page, Vivek reveals the shocking answer - "Our new adversary is a monster. Nobody should adulterate a sandwich with human ham."

My first cannibalistic related art page. If I can somehow acquire any of the other pages in this sequence, it will not be the last. If anyone out there has any of them, it'd be cool to see them on CAF.

Anyway, I hope Declan has more of his Injection artwork stored away and decides to put them up for sale. Thank you for this, Declan, and to Andrew for his fantastic service at Kinetic Collectibles.
