Like the Epting cover you recently posted, just a fantastic, classic depiction of Cap doing Cap things. Gorgeous.
Now that says "America" Alberto,congrats!
Excellent McNiven Cap cover! I almost love those background elements depicting war/bombs/ships/soldiers and that giant star design behind Cap even more than the main figure but of course the Cap figure is also great with the leaping pose. congrats, awesome addition!
The detail is truly insane, congratulations!
You should check out the Werewolf by Night page I posted today.
A gorgeous cover in great historical context. Many congrats Alberto!
Tremendous score! A modern masterpiece!
A thrilling Captain America cover as Cap's image is darker toned to reflect the backdrop of war.
Not only a McNiven cover, but the first issue? This is a memorable one indeed. Fantastic, man, congratulations!
Absolutely amazing!
Congrats
Modern classic! Congrats!
Well done!
McNiven really brought so many great techniques to this cover and a really cool layout that gives us so many little stories and elements.
Such a beautiful cover! Congrats!
A+ modern Cap cover!!!
Epic cover!!! Huge congrats on this! It is very beautiful!
Phenomenal Captain America cover by Steve McNiven! Love the layout here, with the bold image of Cap surrounded by the images of war. I love that Cap is painted in a gorgeous grey wash, giving him a real three dimensional feel, while the rest of the images are silhouettes and/or linework. Thanks to the inkwash, Cap seems to float above the star behind him. Steve Rogers has never looked more heroic! Serious congratulations on a great pick-up!
Greatness.
Incredible cover! Congrats on this stunner.
Man, I remember liking the published cover a lot but it doesn't hold a candle to the OA! Killer shading effect on the figure and just outstanding corner to corner. A worthy image for a Cap #1 cover! Congrats!
