Description
Universal Press Syndicate 2015 and 2017

Two Scott Nickel’s comic strip series Eek!

In one strip, published on March 28, 2017: Batman, Wonder Woman, and Superman are shown together. The joke plays on Batman’s awkward attempt at solidarity when he casually mentions shaving his armpits, turning the usual heroic imagery into a moment of silly, human banter.

In the second strip, published on August 24, 2015: Dracula hosts a party for fellow creatures of the night. Guests enthusiastically compliment the punch, and Dracula proudly reveals that it’s made from O-negative blood. The gag humorously combines the format of a social gathering with the macabre tastes of vampires, highlighting Nickel’s talent for playful wordplay and parody.

Both strips demonstrate how Eek! thrives on parody, taking well-known figures—whether superheroes or monsters—and placing them in lighthearted, absurd contexts that subvert audience expectations.

I like he's not wearing the trademarked bat symbol and goes old school DKR.
