Scott Hampton - Haven TV Series Promotional Art

This painting was done to promote the Haven television series that premiered on July 9, 2010, on Syfy. The show was loosely based on the Stephen King novel The Colorado Kid (2005) and revolved around some strange events in a fictional town in Maine named Haven whose townspeople struggled with supernatural afflictions.

I am told that this painting was made into a larger poster hung at the SyFy tables to promote the show at the 2010 San Diego ComicCon, but has otherwise not been published.

The piece was rendered primarily in watercolors. It has an image area of 8.5 x 13.25" on a larger 11 x 17" piece of 2-ply Bristol and is signed by Hampton in the lower right margin.
