Description
ARMAGEDDON 2001 #1 page 56 and house ad.
Illustrated by Dan Jurgens and Dick Giordano.

This page had multiple uses;
It served as the house ad and preview image of the crossover,
teasing Monarch months before the arrival of the first issue
and also served as the last page of the actual story, kicking off
the event in a dramatic fashion.

This image was the first ever published image of Monarch.

The page, instantly became one of the early, iconic Dan Jurgens
images (beside of Death Of Superman).

The heroes all together at the end of issue one really makes Armgeddon 2001 a true DC event!  Maybe the first time everyone got together since Crisis!
