Snagglepuss cereal ad mailsack

      Snagglepuss cereal ad drawing by a Hanna Barbera animator. The seller wrote it was for Cocoa Krispies and there are such ads on YouTube, but not this one. A collector wrote me that the codes indicate it is for Corn Flakes, but haven't seen that commercial either. I watched a lot of cartoons on Saturday mornings and weekday afternoons when I was a kid. This piece appeared on eBay and looked like a vintage drawing. The seller offered a number of pieces from this ad and the price for this one was right for me. I remember Snagglepuss as one of the supporting cartoons on The Yogi Bear Show. Daws Butler was his voice actor and spoke his famous lines: “Heavens to Murgatroyd!” and “Exit, stage left!”
