Description

As a lover of 80's independent comics, I was an avid reader and collector of Mark Evanier and Will Meugniot's superhero team DNAgents. I picked this gem up several years ago on eBay, as it is full of action, features virtually the entire team, and allows me to joke that it is literally a "double page splash" thanks to the characters jumping into the pool in the big upper left panel that extends into the second page. Aside from the fun nature of this DPS, those who collect Meugniot's art from this period know that he also frequently drew fully inked pinups and character studies on the reverse of the published image. And these two pages are no exception. They feature terrific pinups of Amber and particularly, Rainbow, with one of the Rainbow images being cover quality. You could display either side of these pages with pride. I plan on updating these images with better scans, but you get the gist.

A DPS that's literally splashy! Cool pickup, lots of content through these two pages. And those pin-ups on the back are great, so much art to enjoy on both sides. congrats!

Packed with art on both pages! Just like he said on his CAF interview Meugniot loves to put bonus artwork ont he back. Maybe as an artist, he sees blank paper and can't resist!

That full page Rainbow pin up almost looks like an unused cover. He put his stylized signature on it.
