Description
Fun to add an X-Men page from the height of my nostalgic reading period (late 80s, early 90s). This was Kerry Gammill's only issue of Uncanny. While it may not have much action, it makes up for that with the overly dramatic soap opera dialog that we all love. I especially like the small reference to Cable's origins. I've added a scan of the following page (NOT MINE) to complete the scene. Enjoy!

Maddy got done wrong, by both the characters and the creators. She was right to be a mad woman!

Green wasn't the best choice for Gammill's pencils, but he was the regular inker, so it's understandable they continued to use him for the fill-in. Still, the lines are very nice and some of Gammill's style is still evident. Very nice page overall!

If you can't get good action, get good drama.  Nice add!!!

Yay!!! Glad to see this page ended up with you.  It's a fun one and missed out on the opportunity.  I don't know why but I do love that middle right panel of Madelyne, it's a bit kooky, feels like a giant head and tiny face, but do love this story and art.  Cheers!

Havok is the most sensible of the Summers.  Anyone reading in the 80's knows Scott is the most toxic.  The decades of his deeds show there is a pattern of why he's the X-Men's greatest foe.

Classic Claremont X-Men with beautiful pencils by Gammil.  I do not see anything wrong with Green's inks but I am a big fan so I am probably biased.

One of the best things about this hobby is finding pages from a highly nostalgic time period from our past.  This is a beaut!  Congrats!
