I'm really enjoying Hayden's work here and on Absolute Wonder Woman. I think this take on an early Batman is brilliant. Lean and mean, it fits in so well with writer Dan Watters' emphasis on Batman's detective skills.

Hayden uses all sorts of different camera angles and page layouts to move the story forward. Thrilled to have a complete book.

The bat line gun and the rifle take center stage, but that 2nd panel with just the box against the wedge panel shape takes some daring on Sherman's part.
