11x15-5/8" artboard features pen and ink original art w/screentone accents for story page 14 of All-Star Squadron #3, published by DC Comics Nov. 1981. Art is by Rich Buckler (1949-2017) w/inks by Jerry Ordway and features five panels, showing Hawkman coming upon a squadron of Japanese Zeroes as they approach the California coast. He is seen smashing one w/his flail weapon in second to last panel. Hawkman appears in two panels. Last panel shows Johnny Quick speeding off w/Robotman in close pursuit. Top margin has penciled full title w/inked "A-S" abbreviation w/inked issue number and month of publication. "Ordway" name in blue marker at upper right. Bottom margin has small faint penciled notation regarding the Johnny Quick/Robotman panel. Left corners have been clipped, neither affecting art. Back has DC copyright inkstamp. Aside from even aging to screentone accents, art remains clean and Exc.
