From the mid 1990s to the early 2000s I collected vampire sketches at conventions and signings at my local comic book store.

This sketch was drawn at Empire Comics in Cologne, Germany, on March 5, 1997.

Vampires really weren't on Mr. Weinberg's radar at all when I asked him if he would draw me my sketch. He was true Belgian comic book royalty and is well known in Europe for his Dan Cooper comics, the adventures of a Canadian military pilot. But he enjoyed playing along and we were laughing a lot.
