I really like Russ Manning. He has a style I would describe as just beautiful. This is a recent addition at the NY Comic Con and was just amazed that it looked so much better in person. Also recalling the theme of the comic, I think we might need the abilities of Magnus, in the near future. Have to get it again, as it been a while.

His inks look better in the original art than the they ever could in the newprint they used. They are deeper and make panels like 3, 4, 6 more convincing!

zzzt, kraak, zap....what a page. the deep blacks makes this page pop. Nice Manning pickup.

Beautiful, clean lines. The alternating explosive beam panels, using strong light, contrast so well with the dense shaded movement panels. Nice page!
