Description
Denys Cowan has been a comic book artist for more than 40 years. Along the way, he was a founder of Milestone Media and created Static.

As is my frequent habit, I asked him to draw in my Artist's Choice and Why sketchbook. He chose Static which is the character I would have asked him to do. His reason? Static is "iconic." I agree.

This is a great iconic look with the dreads!  Cowan's line is already scratchy and it makes Static look even more from the tough side of town.
