DescriptionGhosts is a horror comics anthology series published by DC Comics for 112 issues from September–October 1971 to May 1982."The Ghost Who Would Not Die" The ghost of Pancho Villa travels the night looking for the head that was removed from his corpse. Pancho Villa was a revolutionary who sought to overthrow the Mexican government. Having angered some very powerful men with his inflammatory speeches he is assassinated. But one night, for reasons unknown, his grave was desecrated and his head removed. The ghost Pancho Villa has been searching for it ever since. Great work by Cruz to have a historical accuracy in wardrobe and setting at the top. The bottom panels are all cinematic to create that spooky graveyard with fog and shadow that sweeps across.

Lovely page! The movement and pacing in the lower panels is just stunning.
