DescriptionPencils and inks by Wrightson as Commissioner Gordon describes the situation on the top panel as he overlooks the city and having the newscasters describe the current situation as the page dives down into the underground of the city. I know it doesn't have Batman in the page but love the Wrightson detail and story of how you start at the top and drive down to the bottom of what's really happening.Social/Sharing |

An important and significant prestige book by Starlin and Wrightson! You can see the influence of DKR with the TV talking heads layout underneath Gordon's growing concerns. From the top of Gotham to its underground, Wrightson provides strong visual and social narrative of how the downtrodden can be mobilized in societal shifts.
