Cockrum at his best! The Shi'ar and Starjammers revisted in the second run shows a whole new generation of readers those glorious Cockrum designs!
OMG! The memories! Thanks for sharing this one!
So good. Awesome Cockrum and Shiar
Great page
Excellent page. Superb art.
That last panel is just pure gravy.
Wow-- fantastic page! I love Cockrum's Imperial Guard designs and this is beautifully illustrated. I'll have to check, but I think it might also be the "birth page" for some of those new characters in the bottom panel.
Some of them break the "LSH homage" mold. Wonder who they are.
Yeah I think Dave gave up on the LSH homage since Claremont and Byrne had already introduced a few new members in X-Men #137. I checked the comic and the bottom panel is the first appearance of the "Borderers" division of the Guard with new members (from left to right) Sea Spine, Webwing, Sp'yxx, Trypthe and Blackthorn. The feline guy on the left is N'rill'irēē who was introduced in issue #155,
holy cow that's an incredible Cockrum X-Men page, congrats!
Incredible art from an amazing artist and era for the X-Men, huge congrats on this addition.
Loved this period in X-Men. Beautiful page! Huge congrats.
Fantastic page - that bottom panel takes it all
Love the Sh'iar Borderers and wish I could have added this page to my collection but lacked the necessary resources. Congratulations!
Super! Great example but please give the inker credit. Congrats!
A page that definitely has the 'wow' factor. Great stuff.
Amazing Cockrum page - perfect example of his work. Congrats!!!
Sockamagee!
Love those last 2 panels - pure vintage goodness! Congrats, Migs!
