Description
From the 2-issue Tulip arc, this self-contained page featuring young Tulip is just great. I love the symmetry of the page and the look on Tulip's face in the last panel is the best. Ennis's writing shines here as well. So funny and sad at the same time.

I don't get this behaviour. At their age, I LOVED it when cute girls in class wanted to hang out with me and my friends!

A lot of artists can't draw children well. Dillon was great at depicting "the youths"!

That final image of a perplexed Tulip makes the page. Such clean inks from Dillon, as always.

The Ennis writing on this page is superb and the way Dillon made it rhyme from imagery to lettering will leave you speechless like Tulip.

Ennis and Dillon a comics dream team. So many single pages written and drawn by them stand up on the own as pieces of art.
