Description

LeBrock is ready to chew bubble gum and kick ass. And he's all out of bubble gum.

As my favorite series in Bryan Talbot's oeuvre, it made sense to ask Bryan for a sketch of the main character, Inspector LeBrock. The badger with an attitude is such a memorable figure in the "Grandville" graphic novels.

I know he may not be as famous in the United States, but he is the person who inspired people like Neil Gaiman & many others. He basically invented the modern graphic novel. And all of his works - ranging from the 70s to this day - are such a blast to read. Mind-blowing even, especially his "Arkwright" books. This sketch was done on A4 in pencil & ink.
