Dampyr #104 (2008) pages 56-57: Bad hair day (NSFW)

Lady Druj demonstrates the power of her prehensile hair:

“My name is Lady Druj, and I'm about to show you that this isn't a dream, Hanneke, but reality.”

“Aahhh!”

“Hiss....”

“Ah!”

“That's enough, Druj.”

“Sonderling!”

“The girl is a valuable hostage and must remain unharmed... for the moment.”

(Nikolaus finishes recounting the tale.) “At that point everything went dark, and I understood that I had seen what they allowed me to see, knowing that I would come and tell you about it.”

(Harlan) “Is that why you didn't intervene to save her, Nik? Or because you didn't want to confront your old comrades-in-arms?”

“I couldn't intervene, my friend. My first instinct was to throw myself into the water to reach them. They must have created an air bubble at the bottom to keep Hannek prisoner, but if someone tried to free her from the outside, they would break that fragile prison, and the girl would drown before she could reach the surface.”

(Caleb Lost) “And certainly, dear Nikolaus, you too would have run a serious risk. Neither Sonderling nor Lady Druj would have any scruples about getting rid of you once and for all.”

“That's for sure.”

When we first (and most recently) met Lady Druj in Dampyr #54, she was naked in a bed. At the time, it seemed reasonable to think she was naked because she was in bed, seducing the actor Georges Morin. Nope; it appears that her birthday suit is actually her official uniform.
