Description

Trapped in a demonic painting, Tesla explores... “A city! A dark, nightmare city, partially in ruins. The buildings are so colossal that the light barely reaches the end of the streets... it looks like an Assyrian or Babylonian version of Manhattan. But who knows, does it really exist or is it part of a dream? The last thing I remember is that demon's blade... no! It's the river of blood that came out of the painting. Crap! This is the city from that painting... What was it called? 'The Infernal City of Eblis.' Black buildings, blood-red light... It would seem like a city fit for a vampire. Too bad it's far from my tastes. And if its potential inhabitants are like the guy in that cyclopean sculpture over there, I hope I never meet them. You don't look too friendly, buddy. This is a dead city. Are you dead too? Don't bother answering me, though. I know you're made of stone.”

(But the statue creaks to life.) “Ggrrowwwll...”

“Damn! Never make such assumptions in an ‘Infernal City.' Not even my vampire claws can scratch it. Let's scram, Tes!”

These pages do a great job of creating a massive scale difference!  It feels like a land of giants with so many shadows cast and the layers of hatching.
