Description
I can't afford finished Bolland pages or covers, so I was thrilled to have come across this prelim. I love seeing pencil work because you get to see the "work", the foundation and method of the artist. A big bonus was that this was a Judge Dredd piece, for which Bolland is synonymous.

Gary, Fantastic piece. Brian often does several prelims before picking one to go ahead and complete fully. I have a slightly different pose to this one in my gallery and I didn't realise there were more. Lovely piece and thanks for sharing. John

This is the quintessential Bolland Dredd piece...grim puss, raised, smoking gun, eagle on the shoulder, all incredibly finely detailed..."prelim"...he really doesn't know what that means, does he? Amazing piece!
