An original drawing of Dexter and his meddling sister Dee Dee used in the production of Cartoon Network's Dexter's Laboratory.

Borne from Cartoon Network's World Premiere Toons (aka What A Cartoon!) series which showcased 48 original cartoon shorts, Dexter's Laboratory was the first of these to be given its own series. The success of the show launched the career of creator Genndy Tartakovsky who went on to develop Samurai Jack and Star Wars: Clone Wars.

This original production drawing is bursting with energy. This is the exact moment that the large piece of equipment behind Dexter comes crashing down to the ground. The impact of this is highlighted by the blue pencil and the "camera shake" annotation at the top of the drawing.
