DescriptionThe continuation of the VisionQuest storyline, Ms. Klein and Mr. Murchinson report to Mr. Random at the Campus of Saunders College on the completion of the dangerously accelerated assimilation of the Scarlet Witch. I was happy to find this page cause I loved how Byrne put the Scarlet Witch in all black, long before she was all the rage and her pages went through the roof. And for sure, Byrne was laying more groundwork for the Darker Than Scarlet storyline.And finally(!), this is the last page to post that I picked up at the San Diego Comic Con back in 1994, and man did that take forever to post! IIRC I picked this one up at the booth where I ran into Steve Rude, and shortly after I left a short goth guy’s booth. At Mr. Goth’s booth, he looked like he might have an attitude but didn’t, so we had a cool all-Kirby discussion. I’d barely glanced at him while we spoke cause his softcore goth art pages had plenty of… eye appeal. When I finally looked up, I pointed at him and said, “Muh-tha-ah.” Art from 1989 - 11x17. I don't know if he was more goth or industrial metal, but Byrne had Scarlet Witch Danzig in the dark.
