Jeff Purves - Incredible Hulk 350 - Page #5 - Mr Fixit and Dr Doom

The Peter David, Jeff Purves, and Mr. Fixit era was very weird spot in my comic book evolution. It would have been in the first couple of years I was I found Purves art odd - almost grotesque - it was so stylized. My intro to comics was through Byrne X-Men and the 80's Spider-Man and Hulk cartoons so this was And I only knew of the green angry Hulk from the cartoons and TV shows. I didn't know what to make of it.

Eventually I came to love it like most of the world - both the art and the writing.

I was ectstatic to pic up a page of the run from Heritage, and a very cool one with Dr. Doom and Mr. Fixit both.
