Zealot & Grifter vs Daemonites commission painting by Nick Runge (2025)

I have been a fan of Nick's work for almost 20 years now. His cover paintings and movie poster work had many calling him the next Drew Struzan back in the day, but the biz went to Photoshop movie posters and he left comics to pursue fine art and personal art instead. After 10 years away, he has returned to be soing some new comic based work in watercolors instead of his previous acrylic works and he makes watercolors pop.

I got 2 previous pieces by him this year with one of Spider-man and Black Cat and then one of Gambit and Rogue vs a Sentinel. So for this one I had to go with my favorite Wildstorm characters, Zealot & Grifter! As usual Nick knocked the ball out of the park on this one. I love his compositions and color and he just makes incredible images.
