The Guardians of the Universe Force Sinestro to Say the Oath...

The New 52 relaunch caused an interruption in Geoff Johns' already then classic GL run. Volume four ends after a battle with the renegade Guardian Krona and a Green Lantern ring selects Sinestro to be Green Lantern once again. The Guardians of the Universe expels Hal Jordan and returns him back to Earth ringless.

Issue one of the New 52 picks up where 'War of the Green Lanterns" left off, on Oa, with Sinestro in chains, forced to say the Green Lantern oath before the Guardians releases him.

This two page sequence is the first and only time in comics history that Sinestro says the Green Lantern oath. This one is staying in the permanent collection. Super happy to get the title page to GL #1.

"It's all about the ringz Erneh!"  Shocker of an opening as all the Guardians are present.  Precision linework and a symmetrical circular room design places us in the room with them as witness.
