DescriptionI’ve been looking for a decent published example from Jae Lee.. and while this one isn’t my “dream” piece.. (hopefully that inhumans lockjaw page or a killer Namor page finds it way to me)it’s a nice example from a pretty memorable mini he did.. and it helps I’ve always liked the Hulk Thing dynamic . Undeniably Jae .. this title page shows the two monster hand each holding a pic of the Thing with the rare upper hand (pun intended) ove the Jade Giant. Jae inking himself is the only way it should be as I’m not sure many people could understand what he is trying to get at!Thanks Matt for letting this go! Social/Sharing |

Really cool as Jae's art style evolved from the Hellshock style to this before the Inhumans style in a short stretch in the late 90's.

I'd recognize those knobby Hulk & Thing thumbs anywhere! well, maybe...but a cool Jae Lee monster image and title splash nonetheless! nice pickup.

Fascinating Jae Lee title splash! Tight closeup of the hands of the Thing and the Hulk they share photos of a battle the Thing obviously won. Interesting that Jae used a closeup that shows the photo but not the smiling face of the Thing or the annoyed look on the Hulk, though I imagine those will show up on the next few page. But here we can only image what their expressions are. Terrific pick-up, congrats!
