Description

Matt Wagner pencils with Sam Kieth inks, with matching air brushed colors by Matt as well.

This is the first published page of art I ever purchased. Bought it directly from @mattwagnercomics at the �89 Chicago Comicon when I was 15yrs old- as you can see he personalized it to me in the middle right panel. I�ve had this page with me for 36 years now. Absolutely cherish it.

Luckily, the matching color page was made available to me by Jim Warden a couple years ago, and I snatched it right away @popwarnercomics

Great Mage sequence from classic mid 80's Comico! Airbrush is also such an 80's thing and made the comic higher quality than what the big two were doing. The added word balloon greeting married this page to you for good!

WOW! A classic here, Fred, featuring that rarest of combos: Kevin, Mirth, the Grackles... and COLOR!! :) Your collection of early Mage pages is -stunning- and it is -so- cool you were able to reunite the page and color guide. I love the fact that you've had this page for 36 years now! A lifer! Here's to at least 36 more, Fred - huge congrats!
